STEM Teachers’ Teaching and Innovation Education Exhibition Activity
This education exhibition activity has invited five Macao teaching staff who won the Awards of “Outstanding Instructor of Innovative Project on Science and Technology Education” in the “34th China Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest” to share their teaching cases and experience. The aforementioned contest is for nationwide science and technology instructors and the awarded teachers are Mr. Lao Kun Wa of Pui Ching Middle School, Mr. Lam Kai Heng, Mr. Choi Pio and Mr. Leong Kin Keong of Keang Peng Middle School as well as Mr. Lin Yan Long of The Affiliated School of the University of Macau. The purpose of the award is to encourage the educators of Science and Technology Education to innovate in education and teaching reform, so as to enhance the teaching standards of Science and Technology.
From the perspective of teaching staff, the education exhibition activity shares the exemplary teaching cases as well as the experience valuable for implementing STEM education, inspiring teaching staff to innovate in STEM education more effectively, so as to cultivate students’ computational thinking, competence in innovation, creativity, practice, problem-solving, and so forth.
