Apart from applying for 6 Macao local schools, Macao residents can apply for the“school for children of Macao residents” in Hengqin through Central Registration. For the enrolment timeline for other educational stages, please refer to the admission information for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Central Registration will be closed at 23:59 on 16 January. From 19 February onwards, schools will inform parents of the interview date and time.
After completing Central Registration, parents should check the enrolment information on the website of the school they chose. Prepare and submit the required documents at the appointed time. Show the screenshot of “Interview QR Code” when entering the school for interview; the QR code can be used repeatedly.
If parents want to enrol their children in a kindergarten after May 2025, they can go, in person, to the schools that still have places available for registration, or apply for the “Service of consultation and arrangement of school places” at the DSEDJ. Enquiry number during office hours: 83972309.

Note: To enrol in schools in Macao, non-Macao residents must possess a stay permit or residence permit for over 90 days issued by a competent entity of the Macao SAR. At the same time, parents must process central registration at the DSEDJ counters.
